Posture Correction

The Ultimate Lifehack

Today, poor posture is more than just a bad habit – it’s a health epidemic. While most people are aware of the common problems of poor posture, such as neck and back pain, they don’t realize that the issues can extend much further. In fact, sitting and standing poorly, usually
while at work, can contribute to increased stress, decreased lung capacity, and reduced
productivity. The truth is that the human body was designed for regular motion.

However, many of our jobs now require us to sit in front of a desk for hours on end, day after day. This change in habits has contributed to problems with depression, fatigue, reduced mobility and pain. The long term and damaging effects of poor posture include change in your spinal curve due to imbalance, poor digestion because of the compression in your digestive organs, cardiovascular problems and chronic back pain and disc degeneration. This master workshop takes a holistic approach and will include everything from posture
correction, posture training, posture tracking and posture management. We will learn how to correctly sit, stand, walk and sleep. All these positions deeply affect our health, mood and overall happiness quotient.
Ultimately, the only way to fight back is to take positive action.

Yoga-To-Go

If there’s one thing that keeps a doctor away – besides apples, of course – it’s exercise.

Long hours at work and erratic travel schedules make it hard to stick to a wellness schedule.
The key to incorporating exercise into that hectic schedule of yours is – starting small.

So, instead of changing your schedule abruptly, try incorporating small doses of yoga, breathing
exercises and meditation throughout your busy workday. Skip finding time and make time for
moving that body and mind into a healthier and happier version of yourself, ready for another
day of productive work.
In this workshop, we will learn micro postures that are adaptable and imperceptible to the
untrained eye—allowing them to be done anywhere, anytime: in the car, in a flight, at a
conference, in a restaurant, in bed or at the golf course. The possibilities are endless!
Yoga certainly needn’t remain an isolated activity that ends when we roll up our yoga mats. On
the contrary, we take yoga with us on our journey through life as an amulet for the challenges
we encounter along the way.
